In Search of Oldton

Carol's red-headed boy is often seen here dancing to the sound of the penny whistle, perilously close to the cliff's edge.

Sailors' lore has it that you can always faintly hear this music wafting across the breeze whenever you're abreast of a coastline you don't quite recognise.

Landlubber myth has it that wherever you see the red-headed boy dancing is where the next big landslide will take place. Is this too the place where Jodie lets her balloon go?

Weirdly, I have a video clip that shows a red-headed boy playing with an Oldton pye-dog, possibly outside Cherry Tree Farm. He is making the claim that Oldton dogs go 'poof' and not 'woof'.
