In Search of Oldton

Here is the first Oldton bus stop on the Farnham Road.

In the photograph, it stands all alone on the corner of Toad Row - a rather lonely place to sit and wait for a ride out of town, I'd imagine. How many disappeared Oldton citizens sat there?

Things obviously changed rapidly in this part of town. According to Alison, what used to be 'a jungle playground for Amazonian adventurers' was soon turned into 'a development of unique executive homes situated in picturesque Oldton' - another part of an old town overrun with new buildings with new names, as happened in Calvergate not so long ago.

The buildings on the map form the main part of 'The Close', a place where I envisage Ann's guide and comforter spending her last years.
