In Search of Oldton

As the woods peter out, the road narrows and becomes less of a road and more of a sandy track.

It's very obvious that you are coming to the far end of Oldton. The memories peter out here too.

Mrs Millaby's guesthouse is the only landmark I can find in the Oldton archive. I place it here because Steve's dad didn't actually make it to Mrs Millaby's, and thus there are no real memories attached to the place, only a sad story.

Like many places in our lives, this is a part of the world that has been aimed for more than it has been enjoyed or experienced. As a result it appears to be nothing special; somewhere to pass through, quickly and blindly on the way to... where?
